Our vision is a community that reduces the number of unwanted dogs and cats born, thereby reducing the number of animals that enter shelters only to be killed for population control.
To provide effective, affordable and accessible spay/neuter options in our community and to educate people – both pet and non-pet owners alike – about the benefits of spay/neuter and responsible pet ownership.
TLC PetSnip, Inc. will provide the highest level of care to our patients and their families, both on a professional and personal level. Our staff and our volunteers will reflect our core values of compassion, personal responsibility and outstanding service. We will strive to be role models in our community by positively impacting animal welfare.
The founder Terry Sandlak and her late mother, LaVerne Peyton, had a dream to start up a high quality facility that supplied affordable pet care that owner’s could trust. In 2012, TLC PetSnip, Incorporated was formed. Terry created the 501(c)3 business out of the concern of pet overpopulation in the community. She discovered that the main reason people do not spay/neuter their pets is due to the high cost or the lack of availability to the services.
When opening their doors in 2013, TLC PetSnip, Inc. partnered with Humane Alliance in Asheville, North Carolina. This an organization mentors to over one hundred organizations in opening and operating high volume, high quality, low-cost spay/neuter clinics. TLC PetSnip is honored to be affiliated with Humane Alliance and grateful for their contributions.
TLC PetSnip offers the community a state-of-the-art surgery center that includes the latest surgery equipment with the help of a grant from PetSmart Charities. Since it’s opening, TLC PetSnip has successfully performed over 27,600 spay/neuter surgeries to help the furry friends in the community.
Terry and the TLC PetSnip community is extremely appreciative of the opportunity brought before them and for the ability to help thousands of animals. Contact TLC PetSnip today with any questions.
