Dr. Jessica Milligan

DVM

Dr. Jessica Milligan, DVM, CVA, MMS, PA-C has had a lifelong passion for veterinary medicine. She began shadowing an equine veterinarian at the age of 10 when she had her first horse, growing up in south Louisiana. Her first job was as a veterinary assistant during high school, and then continued on working as a veterinary technician while earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science (pre-vet) at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.

Dr. Milligan earned her Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant studies from Saint Louis University and is a graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. With over 10 years of experience in companion animal medicine, Dr. Milligan has developed a special interest in internal medicine and ultrasound. She has honed her skills as a sonographer with advanced sonographic coursework and applied sonography, and her years in general practice have allowed her to provide not only a diagnosis via ultrasound but also give considerations for treatment based on both the ultrasound findings and her clinical experience.
