Why Volunteer

TLC PetSnip is a nonprofit low cost veterinary medical clinic and spay and neuter clinic serving Lakeland, Polk County, and Central Florida. Volunteering with TLC PetSnip means becoming part of a mission that directly improves the lives of animals and the families who love them. Every volunteer plays a role in reducing pet overpopulation and ensuring pets in our community receive the care they deserve.

In 2025 alone, TLC PetSnip made a tremendous impact by spaying and neutering 4,450 animals and providing 10,909 wellness and sick exams to pets in need. Behind every one of those numbers is a pet that received compassionate care, a family that found support, and a community that became stronger.

Volunteers help make this work possible. Whether you are assisting in the clinic, supporting community outreach, helping with administrative tasks, or comforting animals during their visit, your time and dedication directly contribute to lifesaving veterinary care.

If you are passionate about animals and want to make a meaningful difference in Lakeland and Polk County, volunteering with TLC PetSnip is an opportunity to be part of something truly impactful. Together, we can help more pets live healthier lives while creating a future with fewer homeless animals.
